Who We Are

Coach Matt - Age 42 years old, Born and Raised in Whitmore Village, Hawaii. He started training in the Art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Robert Drysdale in 2002 and along the way, found his passion in instructing. He took on the Kids program at Drysdale's as Head Coach of the Kids Program.  Under his instruction as a Team in Las Vegas, children from ages 3years old to 17years old have held titles due to their hard work and dedication and have built their knowledge of self defense. His happiness stems from seeing kids and adults that have never trained before progress through the Art and they feel more confident in themselves.

We, as a family, feel very strongly about giving back to our community and having appreciation for what you have in your life. To show this to our children, we take visits to Opportunity Village to open their eyes about the world they do not see all the time. As members of our gym, we highly recommend them to participate with us as it is a great experience and they are sure to leave feeling enlightened and with a new appreciation on life.(Authorization was obtained from representatives of Opportunity Village to take pictures with their participants)
